Medical Director, Family Medicine Residency Program
St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center
Recognized both locally and nationally for academic excellence, the Family Medicine Residency Program sponsored by St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) is seeking a Medical Director for their clinic located on the hospital campus in Phoenix. This physician will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight for the division, notably including all faculty academic, educational and clinical activities. He/she will promote collaboration throughout SJHMC, provide a foundation for fostering, managing and supporting protocols in the system, and partner with senior leadership to promote a culture of excellence in patient care, education and research. The ideal candidate will have skills in development of policies and procedures and demonstrated leadership attributes with quality improvement, continuity of care and academic initiatives.
Our program includes 30 Family Medicine residents and has recently expanded to a 10-10-10 status commencing academic year 2011-12.
